RB Club is here to shake up the scene and reshape rugby culture. Built for the modern fan – for the lads and ladies who live and breathe the game, but want to wear something that actually represents their lifestyle, their culture, and their community.

The brand was founded by Jack – a military lad from the valleys, and lifelong rugby fan who started by cutting up old jerseys and turning them into bucket hats. He amassed a huge community of rugby fans who would send in their jerseys to be turned into bucket hats – a brand you may know as Rugby Buckets.

But he wanted to do more – and RB Club was born. A fashion brand where heritage doesn’t mean old-fashioned. A community built on culture, creativity, and connection.

We were tasked to help bring his vision to life.

We began by identifying where the brand should sit among its competitors – rooted in heritage, vintage, and nostalgia, but with a modern, welcoming edge. The direction drew inspiration from playful American athletic and varsity designs, while staying firmly grounded in rugby tradition.

Once the route was defined, we created a range of initial brandmark concepts for Jack to explore. He was immediately drawn to the RB monogram, which became the foundation of the identity. From there, we developed a custom wordmark to sit alongside it, expanding the system into secondary and tertiary logos, as well as badge variations for different touchpoints.

To complete the identity, we built a cohesive colour palette and selected a brand typeface to ensure consistency across all assets.
